Ⓐ On your smartphone, go to "Settings" and then "Bluetooth" to turn on the Bluetooth function. Then, press and hold the Olive's touchpad for 5 seconds for the device to change into "pairing mode". The name "Olive(****)" will appear on the screen - press it to pair your Olive to your smartphone. Ⓐ It only takes 1 hour to fully charge your Olive. Once fully charged, you can use it for 6~7 hours, and the charging dock supports two extra charges for longer use.
Ⓐ When the charging dock is charging the Olive, the green LED will light up and blink slowly. When charging is completed, the LED will turn off automatically.
Ⓐ We recommend wearing it only when necessary; prolonged use can give your ears fatigue or pain.
Ⓐ The equalizer is meant to fine-tune the result of the calibration. If you find that certain frequencies and sounds need adjustment, slide the equalizer bar up or down to find your preferred sound setting.
Ⓐ Press the Feedback Cancellation button on the Home tab to reduce feedback noise. If you still experience noise, try decreasing the high frequency (6000 Hz, 8000 Hz) bars in the Equalizer tab, or reducing the overall volume on on the Home tab.
Ⓐ Tap the touchpad of your Olive once to reduce volume, and twice to increase it. You can also adjust the sound easily in the Home tab of the app.
Ⓐ No, with the Olive Smart Ear, you can adjust and personalize sounds easily without professional support. Set up takes just 5 minutes and is customizable at any time.
Ⓐ Yes, you can use it without a smartphone after the initial set up is complete. However, the smartphone app provides many features such as sound modes, customizable EQ and answering phone calls. So, it is recommended that you use it with a smartphone if you use one for daily use.
Ⓐ Yes, when your Olive Smart Ear is paired with your smartphone, you can receive, reject or hang up calls by simply tapping the Olive touchpad.
Ⓐ Yes, when your Olive Smart Ear is paired with your smartphone, you can listen to music from the earbud just like any other bluetooth hearing device.
Ⓐ Olive is NOT water resistant. Please avoid contact with water, for it may break the product.
Ⓐ The Olive Smart Ear can be too large for children to wear, and needs adult supervision for safety reasons. Therefore, it is not recommended for children to use the product.
Ⓐ Please clean it carefully with a brush or cloth. Make sure not to wash it or put water on it, since it may break the product.
